We paid to have two Omnii XT15's upgraded from CE 6.0 to Windows Embedded Handheld. One of the units later failed (main logic board) and was sent in for service on an RMA. I included the original RMA information from the upgrade and specifically noted it needed Windows Embedded Handheld.
When it was returned, it came back with CE 6.0. It was returned to Psion / Motorola a total of four times. The final time I had to contact our vendor who worked some sort of magic and gave me an RMA number. I don't know exactly what he did or who he contacted, but I feel sorry for the guy who doesn't have someone to contact other than Motorola in "Texas"...
